Mac Mcanally Reviewwhen I first heard this cd it was in the late seventies on L.P. and I was hooked. As much as the music is brilliant and there is a wide subject range the lyrics were what struck me. Mac could say things in a song that I could never imagine finding the words for. Its a crazy world was the first song i had heard but it was Barney and Real people that struck a chord the most. People call me Jesus is as honest a look at life and people that there is . I am a writer and and this was probably the album that turned me and gave me inspiration more than any other. On most of these songs you will think of people and situations in your own life and relate; it is that well written and performed. Mac has never received the recognition he truly deserves as a writer and a musician but this CD started my appreciation of him and his brilliance.
