Alabaster Box ReviewFirst of all Cece is not for the average listener of gospel music. She is in a class all by herself. If you want a cd that will usher you into the presence of God, this is the one. From "Fill My Cup" to "King of Kings" reprise and all points in between. I so identified with "Alabaster Box" that it moved me to tears. Her rendition of "Comforter" also recorded by Vickie Yohe is wonderful. "It Wasn't Easy" finds me more thankful for the sacrifice that was made for me at Calvary. "Blessed, Broken and Given" is incredible. A lot of people are moved by the beats. I thank CeCe for being more concerned about how and why it is that we praise HIM. Absolute awesome body of work!Alabaster Box Overview

Goodbye, Babylon ReviewI have had this set for over a year and I still have not listened to it all. 135 songs of such diverse and interesting variety and styles. The music is so raw in most cases that it speaks to the gut first, then the heart.
Dust to Digital is the best outfit in the world for locating and assembling such massive historical recordings. This is the most pleasureable set of gospel (if you can limit it to that genre) music, ever. Thank you DtoD.Goodbye, Babylon OverviewGoodbye Babylon is a 6 CD gospel reissue collection. 5 CDs contain 135 songs from 1902-1960 and the 6th disc is comprised of 25 sermons recorded between 1926-1941.
